Sizzling Summer Steak

The Sizzling Summer Steak is a delectable meal, perfect for entertaining guests at a back-yard barbeque.  Simply cook to suit and serve with your favorite vegetable or salad. 

Description: Serves 6-8 : Preparation & cooking time: 35 minutes.

Ingredients: 2 lb. Top Round Beef Steak (organically raised and grass-fed beef is best)

 

Marinade:
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
3 tbsp minced green onions
3 tbsp water
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp minced fresh ginger
3 large cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tspn salt

Instructions:

1. Combine marinade ingredients. Place beef steak and marinade in food-safe plastic bag, turning steak to coat. Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator for 6 hours or as long as overnight, turning occasionally. 2. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Place steak on grid over medium heat. Grill, covered, 25-28 minutes to 140°F for medium rare doneness, turning occasionally. Transfer to carving board. Let stand 5 minutes. (Temperature will continue to rise 5°F to reach 145°F for medium rare.) Carve steak crosswise into thin slices.
