This blog is for the regular folk out there.
The ones who do not wake at dawn to run 3 miles and make a fancy smoothie that approximates a complete meal and tastes like... well, anyway. Rather, I roll out reluctantly each day at the last possible moment... throw new diapers on my little ones, make something for them for breakfast, and hit the road for work with thoughts of perhaps hitting the coffee shop for breakfast on the way in. I won't drag you through the rest of my day but at the end I feel I have done fairly well, a picture of normal. Then, on reflection, or as a reminder from my wife I realize I have consumed a coffee, two chocolate chip cookies, a chicken sandwich (with lettuce!) and a smattering of other foods not to be characterized as healthy. This "clarification" usually comes with a mint cookie hanging out of my mouth. Oh well... perhaps in the morning I will get up and run a few miles and make a smoothie.
